My name is Sarah Callaghan. I have been baking cakes for as long as i can remember. I remember baking my first cake when I was a little girl with my Mum and being allowed to add the decorations.

As i grew up i made cakes for family and friends and the local school fares. I have attended and completed various cake design courses and I am a member of the "British Sugarcraft Guild"

Over the past few years i have made lots of cakes as a part time hobby, this has now started to get out of hand and take over my kitchen.

My 2 children are now at school and I have decided that the natural progression would be to set up a cake design business from home.

I had many requests through friends and family for cakes but was not always able to help due to family commitments, especially with 2 small children.

I get a great deal of pleasure from individually designing, baking and decorating a cake for any special occasion.

There is no better feeling that seeing someone's face light up at the sight of an individually designed cake for their special occasion. Due to the fact that the cakes i have produced have helped make someone's celebration special I decided to start my own business and "Cake Creations by Sarah" was born..........

The design of each cake is the most important process of all. Everyone have their own ideas as to what they want and i am here to help them bring their ideas in to the form of an individually designed cake. Some people bring magazine photographs, others scrap's of paper but we can sit down and discuss what is required.
